In 2010, Iker García Barrenetxea founded The Vyner Studio at No.1 Vyner Street, East London. This artist-run space was created to provide emerging artists and designers with a unique platform to produce and showcase their work.
A Hub of Collaboration and Creativity
The Vyner Studio offered Iker the opportunity to work closely with other artists and collaborators, while exploring curatorial practices, exhibition display design, and organizing pop-up events. Supported by Time Out and the Whitechapel Art Gallery, which promoted the First Thursdays late-night exhibitions, The Vyner Studio proudly became a reference point for East London's art enthusiasts.
Recognition and Participation
The studio actively participated in notable events such as the London Design Festival and Photomonth, establishing itself as a vibrant center of artistic activity.
