Atormentado explores a state of mind — being tormented — while also addressing human energy.
 
The work originated as a one-line sketch and was later developed on a large canvas. Colour played a central role in creating depth and contrast, articulating a dialogue between darkness and light through subtle tonal variations.
 
Atormentado later became the starting point for Inside Out – Lines as a device to exteriorize the rhythms guided by emotions, a collaborative exhibition with composer Miguel Marin (@arbol_music), bringing together nine paintings and nine musical compositions.
