Painted from the balcony of my third-floor flat on Quaker Street, East London.
Streets around Brick Lane, Liverpool Street, Old Street, and Shoreditch—though the view may appear gray and urban, the memory carries the energy, life, and architectural rhythm of a vibrant, cosmopolitan neighborhood.
